In 1991, Mr. Brady was in the second year of being CEO of Cypress Tree
International Inc, an Investment Real
Estate Firm he also founded. At Cypress Tree, Mark faced the challenges of maintenance, repair, and
construction on his properties.
He started Topaz International Inc (Topaz) in response to those challenges.
He founded Topaz to bring dependability, excellence, and quality to the construction and management of real estate. It has worked well.
While navigating through countless cycles of Buyer's markets, Seller's markets, and everything in between, his companies have constructed over 4,000 homes and remodeled more than 750 properties. Additionally, he has held ownership in many diverse ventures, including a bank, a financial planning firm, a real estate company, and a property management company. He has been involved in numerous subdivision developments, hotels, apartments, condominiums, mobile home projects, and many residential rentals and flips. He has served on the Board of many banking, real estate, construction, and property management companies.
Mark became interested in Central America in 1983. Since then, he and his companies developed an increasing presence in the area until, in 2014, he decided to withdraw his operations from the US entirely and focus solely on doing business in Central America. Topaz still has a presence in the US and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Mark has written several books and many articles about Christianity, Real Estate, Finance, Construction, and Property Management. He writes a weekly blog for Tree Top Ministries.
